As the altitude increases, the temperature of the mesosphere layer will decrease.

Earths atmosphere is divided into 5 layers such as, troposphere, stratosphere, mesosphere, thermosphere, and exosphere. Mesosphere is the middle layer which recorded to have the coldest temperature among the 5 layers of the atmosphere. As altitude increases in this layer, temperature will decrease.
